What’s Included: Estimated cost per person is $3200 and is subject to airline costs at the time of purchase. Includes airfare between destinations and to/from included activities, land transportation to the mission site, lodging in dorm-style rooms, all meals, travel insurance, and CBC team t-shirt. Optional activities are at an additional cost and the responsibility of the missionary. (Examples are ice cream outings, shopping in the marketplace, and meals in the airport.)

If you withdraw your registration or cancel your participation, you will be responsible for the CBC processing fee and all non-refundable expenses paid for in advance by CBC to vendors and the mission site.

What to Expect: Commissioned by Christ missionaries will be involved with a number of on-going projects in the cities of Da Nang, Pleiku, Don Tum City, and Buon Me Thuot. Da Nang or Danang is the fifth-largest city in Vietnam by municipal population. It lies on the coast of the East Sea of Vietnam at the mouth of the Hàn River, and is one of Vietnam's most important port cities. Pleiku is a city in central Vietnam, located in the Central Highlands region. It is the capital of the Gia Lai Province. Kon Tum City is the capital city of Kon Tum Province in Vietnam. It is located inland in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam, near the borders of Laos and Cambodia. Buon Me Thuot is the largest city in the central highlands of southern Vietnam. It has teacher-training and vocational schools, hospitals, and a commercial airport. Buon Me Thuot is linked by highway to Pleiku in the northern central highlands and to Nha Trang on the coast. Sample Mission Trip Itinerary:

  • 7am Morning prayer, grace and breakfast as a mission team

  • 8am Collect personal belongings for the day;

  • 9am Participate in assigned various activities

  • 12pm Lunch

  • 3pm More time for afternoon activities

  • 4pm Free time

  • 6pm Mass (one evening will also include Holy Hour and Confessions)

  • 7pm Dinner, talk, evening reflection

  • 9pm Free time

  • 11pm Lights out

Preparing for Mission: This is accomplished over a 4-month timeframe during two 1/2 day retreats, one 1/2 day group service project to help a local organization in need, and a post- trip meeting, in addition to the week on mission.
