Melissa Pohlmeier

Melissa Pohlmeier received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from George Mason University. Inspired by her involvement in Catholic Campus ministry where she participated in local, domestic and international mission opportunities, post graduation Melissa volunteered for a year with the Missionary Cenacle Volunteers. Continuing her education she received a Masters in Systematic Theology from the Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University. She has extensive work experience in faith-based and community-focused ministries, to include parish youth ministry, Young Life, Walking With Purpose, March for Life, FACETS, Be the Good, Catholic Charities St. Lucy Project, Veterans Honor Flights, and Sunrise Senior Living Center. Melissa and her husband, Keith, are blessed with seven great kids and are parishioners of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Springfield, VA.
