Dr. Cathy Wright

Catherine Wright is an Associate Professor at George Mason University in the Department of Communication. She is currently the Undergraduate Program Director, having previously served as Advising Director for 9 years. Her interests lie in media, technology, and their intersection and has taught at the college and university level for 27 years. She holds a PhD in Communication from Regent University, an MA in Mass Communication from Texas Tech, and a BS in Business Communication from Phillips University. She and her husband love to travel, are certified scuba divers, and are conversational in Italian. A member of St. Raymond of Penafort in Springfield, she and husband have a son, soon-to-be daughter in law, and a grandson, and a daughter who proudly serves in the US Army.
